Looking for a place with homely meals and laundry services? Check out our PG in Delhi. |
Yep, when we say ‘plenty’, we really mean it. So here’s the thing, not all good workplaces might be located in Delhi itself. In fact, you may eventually have to move to one that’s located in either Noida or Gurgaon. But for that, all you need to do is rent a place that’ll be close to them. For example, staying in South Delhi’s Saket or Chattarpur is pretty convenient to commute to Gurgaon. Basically, what we’re trying to say is that even if you get a job outside of Delhi, it’ll not be impossible to make that work.
Whether it’s an office space that helps you bring out your best work, or a hybrid routine, or a remote one, you’d be able to find a role here that suits you best. In fact, it might just surprise you but the work culture is so fluid, you can pretty much switch your work mode, one job after another. It’s why if you travel to Himachal on any given day, you’ll witness half of Delhi NCR working on their laptops from there.
Although a lot of the top tier cities have now got a metro, you’ll not see the kind of importance it holds in Delhi in any other city. It’s pretty well-connected. And not only to the areas inside the city, but to the major corporate areas in Gurgaon and Noida too. Plus, if you think the metro’s too crowded for you to travel every day, then you could book bikes and autos from online apps. And on top of that, you have local buses running frequently around the city. So there’s that too.
Look. One of the best things about Delhi is that it’s really dynamic. We mean, it offers options for all kinds of budgets and on all kinds of things including rental housing. So if you’re just starting out and you’ve got a low budget, then you can move into a cheaper area. Oh, and by the way, even cheaper areas in Delhi are fairly convenient and well-connected. So don’t you worry You’d be in good hands until you save up that dough for your dream penthouse.
Why do you think most people who study in Delhi University stay back in the city even after starting their work life? Well, it’s because they have become so used to the fun, they probably never wanna live. And fairly so. Because whether you have a wild night out, or a quiet book-reading session, Delhi has 10,000 events happening every day. So after you punch out from your workplace, the only problem you’d have is choosing between all the events or places to go out and chill. If you ask us, that’s not the worst problem to have. So…
